The template restriction provides Heymarket users the ability to assign template access on an inbox-by-inbox basis. This refined access control ensures that only the users associated with a specific inbox can utilize and modify the templates tied to that inbox.
By restricting access to templates, you ensure that only authorized agents can use or alter them, maintaining the integrity of your communication.
Targeted Template Use
Inbox users can leverage templates that are relevant to them and their workflows.
Easily manage who has access to each template, making it straightforward to maintain templates organized.
How It Works
- When creating or editing a template, select which inboxes it should be tied to.
- By default, templates are shared with all inboxes. To specify access, simply check the 'Share with specific inboxes' option.
- A template associated with particular inboxes will be accessible for use and modification only by users of those inboxes, unless a user has a role with 'Templates Manage' permission enabled.
Imagine you want to restrict a "Support Hours" template to users within the Support inbox exclusively:
- Create a Support template and assign it to the support inbox:
Now, only users in the Support inbox will see and can use this template. If you’re signed in as a support agent who is only a member of the Support inbox, you'll only have access to the "Support" template. The template will only be visible in the chat compose screen on chats, lists and campaigns:
Using template restrictions ensures that your team's communications are efficient and secure. For further assistance, please contact us at email@example.com or through support chat.
