Heymarket allows you to integrate business text messaging with any of the 1,000 others apps in Zapier. You can automate workflows, have contacts from other business apps appear in Heymarket, and vice versa.
Here are the main triggers and actions you can take with Heymarket.
Triggers
- Chats Started - this triggers when there is a new chat started (inbound or outbound).
- New or Updated Contact - this triggers when a contact is created, updated, or imported into Heymarket and provides information for the corresponding Heymarket contact. (Note: this list will need to be shared in Heymarket in order to appear as an option in Zapier)
- Incoming Message - for any incoming message (including third parties) Heymarket will provide the message body, phone number, timestamp, and URL for chat.
- Outgoing Message - for any outgoing message (including third parties) Heymarket will provide the message body, phone number, timestamp, and URL for chat.
- Incoming Message Unsubscribe - Triggers when a contact unsubscribes themselves via SMS. Heymarket will provide the message text, phone number, timestamp, and URL for the chat.
- Incoming Phone Call - Triggers when a phone call is received. Heymarket will provide the phone number, inbox ID, and a timestamp from when the call was received.
Actions
- Create or Update Contact - this creates a contact in Heymarket with the provided information. Existing contacts, determined by phone number, will be updated with the new information provided. Contacts can be added to a list.
- Send Template Message - sends a message from a predefined template.
- Update List: This will add or remove a contact from a Heymarket list.
- Send Custom Message - sends a custom message that can be created through a third party.
Setting up Heymarket Triggers
Step 1
Sign in to Zapier and click on ‘Make a Zap!’
Step 2
Search for ‘Heymarket’ as a trigger app and select it. Decide which trigger you want to use.
Step 3
Sign in to Heymarket Web, go to the Manage Integrations section, copy the API key, and paste it in the popup from the previous step.
Step 4
Follow the on-screen prompts to set up the trigger to your preference. This includes selecting an inbox to monitor, as well as whether to monitor inbound or outbound messages.
Step 5
Decide on the action app you want to use and follow the on-screen prompts.
Step 6
Turn your Zap on and you're good to go!
Tip: You can create as many Zaps as your Zapier account will let you! Heymarket offers a number of pre-created zaps. Customize them or create your own to find the best configuration for your business.
