This help article outlines the steps you need to take to register your 10DLC campaign with Heymarket.
10DLC is a 10-digit long code phone number used only in the United States for transactional and promotional messaging, you can learn more about it here.

Registration Process
- Navigate to the 10DLC Registration page.
- Complete the information on the form displayed, the required fields are:
- Personal Information
- First Name
- Last Name
- Phone Number
- Company Information
- Company Address
- Country
- State
- City
- Zip Code
- Legal Company Information
- Legal Company Name
- Federal Tax Identification Number (EIN)
- Additional Company Information
- Company Website
- Organization Legal Structure
- Vertical Type
- Description of Messaging Use Case
- Provide a clear and comprehensive overview of the campaign's objectives and interactions the end-user would experience after opting in.
- If the Campaign pertains to Loan Arrangement or Direct Lending, specify such so that Twilio A2P Ops can update your Campaign to reflect.
- Here is an example: "We are a dentistry clinic providing various dental services including regular cleaning, orthodontics, and periodontics. We will be scheduling appointments and sending reminders to the patients of our clinic who have provided their number for text message communication."
- Messaging Opt-in/Opt-out Flow (Explicitly describes how customers consent to receive communications) Please see some helpful tips below:
- Please explicitly use the terms 'opt-in' and 'opt-out' in your response.
- Clear and conspicuous language about opt-in and any associated fees or charges
- Identity of the organization or individual being represented in the initial message
- Program or product description
- Explain if the Call to Action is behind a login, not yet published publicly, is verbal, on paper
- Please provide a URL showing opt-in language and a screenshot.
- 2 Sample messages which demonstrate examples of text messages you will send
- Include opt-out language to at least 1 sample message
- Indicate templated fields with brackets

Once the form has been submitted, the registration status of your Heymarket team(s) will be displayed on the right side of the webpage:
Stages of Review for 10DLC Registration
There are several review processes the 10DLC submission will go through as various providers and carriers review your submission for compliance. Your progression among these stages can be monitored from the 10DLC page in the Administration section.
Here is a summary of each stage your registration will go through:
- Stage 1 - Submit Form
- You must submit the form with complete and accurate information about your business and messaging strategy.
- Stage 2 - Submission Prescreening
- Your submission will be reviewed by the Heymarket team for completeness and to ensure you are meeting compliance requirements.
- Stage 3 - Company Verification Review
- Your company information such as your legal business name, tax identification are reviewed for legitimacy.
- Stage 4 - Primary Review of Messaging & Opt-in
- Mobile providers and carriers will review your opt-in consent practices and messaging content to ensure you are following compliance regulations.
- Stage 5 - Primary Review of Messaging & Opt-in
- Similar to Stage 4, mobile providers and carriers will conduct a secondary review of your opt-in consent practices and messaging content to ensure you are following compliance regulations. This is the final stage of review, and upon passing you are fully registered for 10DLC.
Until you pass Stage 5 and successfully register for 10DLC, you may experience message filtering and poor message deliverability since carriers are still in the process of validating your business and messaging strategy for compliance.
Possible Statuses
At each Stage, you will see a status indication of where your registration stands. These are the possible statuses you may see at any stage:

Your team may experience carrier filtering or failed messages since carriers are still in the process of validating your business and messaging strategy for compliance. |
Failed (Action Required) |
For the current stage, your submission was not up to compliance standards and additional information needs to be provided to continue with 10DLC registration. Contact Heymarket Support for guidance. |
Your team may experience carrier filtering or failed messages since carriers are still in the process of validating your business and messaging strategy for compliance. |
Successfully Registered |
Your registration has passed the final stage (Stage 5) and is fully registered for 10DLC. |
You should have normal message deliverability. |
