In this help article we'll go over creating two types of automations:
- Business greeting for first incoming messages
- Auto-reply after hours message
Business greeting for first incoming messages
Step 1: Create a template for your business greeting
Step 2: Go to Automations and click "Create Automation"
Step 3: Name your automation, choose "First Incoming Message" as the Trigger, and Send a Message as the Action. Choose the template you created in Step 1
Auto-reply after hours message
Step 1: Create a template for your after hours message:
Step 2: Go to Automations and click "Create Automation"
Step 3: Name your automation, choose "Time of Incoming Message" and "Day and Time" as the Trigger (for this business, our business hours are 9AM to 5PM, Monday to Friday so our automation is set to trigger from 5PM to 9AM the following day). Choose Send a Message as the Action and choose the template you created in Step 1
