Overview
When sending a Broadcast email, Heymarket shows two levels of reporting:
- Aggregate metrics (percentages and counts across all recipients)
- Per-contact metrics (delivery and engagement for each recipient)
These metrics provide insights on how contacts are interacting with your emails. Reporting outputs can be used to adjust subject lines, message content, or send timing to improve engagement in future Broadcasts.
Aggregate Metrics
Each aggregate metric displays both a count (number of contacts) and a percentage (relative to total sent).
- Total Sent: Emails sent to contacts in the list the email attempted to deliver to.
- Delivered: Emails successfully delivered to recipient mail servers.
- Opened: Recipients who opened the email.
- Clicked: Contacts who clicked any link in the email.
- Responded: Contacts who replied to your email.
- Bounced: Emails that failed to deliver.
- Unsubscribed (Opted Out): Contacts who unsubscribed using the link in the email.
- Marked Spam: Contacts who reported the email as spam.
Per-Contact Table
The Contacts table shows what happened for each recipient. For every contact, you can see:
- Delivered: If the email was successfully delivered.
- Opened: Whether the recipient opened the email.
- Clicked: Whether they clicked a tracked link.
- Responded: Whether they replied.
- Bounced: If the message failed to deliver.
- Opted Out: If they unsubscribed.
- Marked Spam: If they reported the message as spam.
