What is Email Clipping?

Clipping occurs when an email exceeds Gmail’s size threshold:

• Desktop Gmail: ~102 KB
• Mobile Gmail (iOS): as low as ~20 KB
• Other mobile clients: ~75 KB

How to Avoid Clipping

• Keep total email size (HTML, text, styling) under 102 KB
• Use unique subject lines to prevent Gmail from grouping messages and hiding content
• Remove unused blocks, background images, and embedded styles
• Minimize conditional or dynamic content where possible
