Important Configuration Guidelines
Due to the interconnected nature of permissions, certain combinations may affect user access:
- If you disable Contacts Unrestricted Access: Lists & Campaigns, Contact Import, and Reports will also be disabled. Users will have limited contact visibility and cannot create or import new contacts unless permitted.
- If you disable Chats Unrestricted View: Lists & Campaigns and Reports will also be disabled. Users will only see chats assigned to them.
- If you enable Reports: Both Contacts Unrestricted Access and Chats Unrestricted View will be enabled to ensure meaningful data access.
Common Permission Combinations and Use Cases
Full Access:
- Contacts Unrestricted Access: Enabled
- Chats Unrestricted View: Enabled
- Use Case: Team members who need full access to all contacts and chats.
Restricted Contact Access:
- Contacts Unrestricted Access: Disabled
- Chats Unrestricted View: Enabled
- Use Case: Users who should see all chats but only view and edit their own contacts.
Restricted Chat Access:
- Contacts Unrestricted Access: Enabled
- Chats Unrestricted View: Disabled
- Use Case: Users who need access to all contacts but only see chats assigned to them.
Fully Restricted Access:
- Contacts Unrestricted Access: Disabled
- Chats Unrestricted View: Disabled
- Use Case: Users who should only see contacts and chats assigned to them.
