Introduction
The ‘Message Rewrite’ feature within Heymarket’s AI feature-set is intended to improve your agents’ messaging. After writing a draft of a message, Message Rewrite enhances the typed message based on a criteria you select. The available actions are: Expand, Shorten, Autocorrect, Make it Formal, Translate and are described in detail below.
To use the feature, simply type a message in the text input, select the AI button below the message and select the rewrite option you’d like to use.
Example:
- A contact messaged in with a question about the 10DLC registration process.
- Type in a draft response in the text input field:
- Click the AI button
- Select the rewrite option you’d like (Make it Formal in this example) and message get rewritten to
- Click Send Now (you can modify the message prior to sending it)
Available Message Rewrite Options

Expand:
- After typing a quick reply using normal texting abbreviations, the Expand rewrite feature transforms the message into complete sentences.

Shorten
- Turns complex and long-winded texts into concise replies.

Autocorrect
- Corrects grammar and spelling mistakes.

Make it Formal
- Changes tone of message to be more professional and proper.

Translate
- Translates the typed message from English to a selected language (Chinese, French or Spanish) or from any language to English.
Setting Language in Message Translate
- To set a language for messages to be translated to, navigate to your profile: https://app.heymarket.com/profile and select from Chinese, French or Spanish.
